Get your hands in the dirt. Clear out a small sunny area. Plant easy to germinate seeds..like sunflowers or cosmos. Buy a 6 pack of flowers and plant. Good choices are pansies, petunias, or zinnias. Follow instructions. Once you get a taste of success and digging in the dirt, you'll want to do more of it.
