Depression and Parkinson's disease

I went through two years of depression which was quite mind-bending. My voice was getting weaker, my thought process was slower. I would try to time the conversation to get in and I was always 3 seconds late. I withdrew.

A lot of things helped me to get through it. For me, I focus on being positive. It is also critical to get your rest. As well, perspective helped a ton—for example—recalling a lady who walked the NY Marathon with MS and crossed the line a day later. This example is just one of many that we can draw on for perspective on our own situation. I believe one should 'get out there and get at it'. Bill T
