I have seen a number of good people

I have seen a number of good people who do many wonderful things for others—yet when it comes to money and business something changes. They seem to rationalize that it is Ok to shortchange someone or not pay a bill. All of a sudden they are a ‘tough businessperson’ which really means they are just ripping someone off. I have seen it done over small and large amounts—however, in virtually every situation, I have seen it hurt the person more than the financial gain reaped. While they saved some money in the short term, their reputation suffered and I have seen direct losses in revenue, opportunities and in one larger case, a potential jail term emerged.
