The children I babysit are not allowed to watch TV, which means I need to get creative sometimes in order to keep everyone happy and amused. Playing outside is, in my opinion, the best option. But what to do on rainy days? For young children (4 and under) I recommend playing with play dough, finger painting, coloring, legos or anything else creative. Children's attention spans aren't very long, so it's likely you may have to do all these activities in the course of a few hours. =)
