Grocery Store Tip: Stick to the Perimeter


Stick towards the perimeter of the store.  You will find the healthiest items like fresh fruit and veggies here.  Once you have filled your cart with these items, venture into the center of the store for the necessities, like bread and oatmeal, but try to avoid the scads of processed foods that are located here.  Also, never go to the grocery store hungry.  You will come home with quite a few extra items!
