Set Little Goals and Stick to Them


When you begin a weight-loss regimen, it’s so tempting to set huge goals, like losing 50 pounds or achieving 6-pack abs. When you set huge goals, they seem insurmountable and even small changes won’t make you happy; this will cause you to feel hopeless and fall off the wagon...and right into a pile of pizza and french fries. Set small, weekly goals as steps toward your overall goal. One to two pounds of weight loss each week is a great place to start, along with eating healthfully at least four days a week and getting 30 minutes of activity three times a week. You’ll see consistent success that will motivate you to continue your journey to larger goals.
