The Best Way to Remove Nail Polish

If you're using a bottle of nail polish

If you're using a bottle of nail polish remover, ditch the round cotton pads -- they absorb so much remover that not much gets on your nails, and rubbing leaves behind a fluffy residue most of the time. Opt for thick felt (available in all craft stores) and cut it into small, one-time-use squares. The felt doesn't shed like cotton pads, and is more scrubby so your polish comes off quickly and easily.
