Asking Questions To Make Them Apply Your Value Prop

Marketing is mostly sales in different mediums.

Your job is to determine your target's need, what you offer to fulfill that need, then bridge the gap between the two with an emotional response. Don't shout; instead, bridge the gap with an emotional response by asking questions to make them apply your value proposition to themselves and their life.

Examples:

If you're a Realtor showing a house to a client, don't sell it with "This is a big bedroom.", sell it with the question "Would little Tommy's bedroom set fit this space well?"

Get them visualizing themselves driving away the car you're selling them.

Take the same approach and apply it to an advertisement, a social media post, a blog post, a billboard, a website or whatever medium you're using to communicate to your target.
