If you're trying to depart a full train or elevator, and there are lots of people waiting to get on, you might get shoved to the back and miss your stop. Try this: As the train or elevator is slowing down to your floor or stop, move to the front and center -- right in front of where the doors will open. When the doors open, simply pretend the people trying to get on aren't there and muscle your way through them. Sure, it's a little aggressive and maybe even a little rude, but it's pretty much the only way to get anywhere on elevators or trains!
