Carbonless Copy Paper, also known as non-carbon copy paper or NCR paper (No Carbon Required) is a coated paper that is specially designed to transfer the written part on the front onto the sheets underneath. It was firstly invented by the chemists Lowell Schleicher and Barry Green as an alternative to carbon paper.
