Instant Cool-Down


If you're just coming off a vigorous workout

If you're just coming off a vigorous workout or it's hot outside, chances are, you're sweating. To cool down quickly (without jumping into a pool) run your inner wrists under cold water or hold an ice cube to them. Because the veins are so close to the surface, your body will cool down more quickly. Other places with blood vessels close to the skin are your neck, inner elbows, and backs of the knees -- try these if you're still feeling overheated.
