Many people believe that outside of going to college the military is the best way to work, travel learn a marketable trade, and have great benefits. After attending college for two years on a Basketball Scholarship, Dewayne Maurice decided he did not want to continue his education in a formal school setting. Maurice joined the Air Force and works as a Knowledge Operations Manager. He offers a great tip for anyone who considers joining the military. According to Maurice, “it is very important to stay focused and not allow other people to become a negative influence.”
