It's so tempting to cook something your child will actually eat, even if it's not what the rest of the family is eating. Stop! Chances are, you're just promoting picky eating that will get worse over time as you continue to indulge it. Cook a meal that's not on your kid's "hate it" list, and if your child doesn't want to eat, save them a portion for later. Usually, a kid won't go hungry and when he decides it's time to eat, he'll eat what you've cooked. Note: If your child refuses to eat everything you cook or is ridiculously picky, see your pediatric doctor to make sure his picky-ness isn't something more serious.
