Have you ever borrowed a friend's car or driven a rental and realized you have no clue which side of the vehicle your gas tank is on? I know I have, and it's definitely embarrassing to turn around in the gas station parking lot. Did you know that there's usually a tiny arrow on a car's gas gauge? If there is an arrow, whichever way it's pointing indicates which side of the vehicle your gas tank is located. If there's not, I've heard rumors that whichever way the nozzle on the little pump icon is facing indicates the same thing. Give it a try the next time you're driving an unfamiliar car!
