Before you reach for the crazy-harsh chemical stuff that stinks up your whole home, try this: Pour 2 parts baking soda down the drain, followed by 1 part white vinegar. Cover the drain immediately (a plate works really well for this task). Wait 30 minutes, uncover the drain, and flush it with hot water. Repeat the process for extremely stubborn clogs.
