Walking Stairs


My foot was dragging when I was walking

My foot was dragging when I was walking on level ground. I found a way to improve my gait by walking stairs. It gave me something different to do and it forced me to lift and place my foot in order to go up and down the stairs. I did it three times per week with music or the television on.

Doing this over and over again improved my walking because it reminded my brain to lift my toes and it helped program my brain through repetition.
