First Time Little League Coach? Look No Further!

Coaching baseball for the first time ever isn't easy. It's a lot of work and can be overwhelming at times. Always remember you aren't just coaching a team, you're coaching individuals within a team.

As a coach you need to know that you have 12 or 13 different players on your team and each player is different. You need to work as much as possible individually with each player or a group of players as opposed to painting all the players with the same brush.

Some kids need more work with hitting, so you need to work with them on hitting. Some need more fielding, so you need to work with them on fielding.

That’s important, as opposed to, “let’s go hit, let’s go field, let’s go run, let’s go do this”, you need to really find the weaknesses of the kids and build and try to improve every single one of them.

Focusing on the needs of each player will make them a better baseball player and in turn, will make you a better baseball coach!
