Fresh herbs and olive oil are two delicious ingredients for sauteing meat and veggies. Make this step even easier by freezing your own olive oil cubes! Mix together the herbs you want -- say, a little basil, oregano and garlic if you're cooking Italian -- with one tablespoon of olive oil. Pour the oil into an ice cube tray and freeze. Once they're frozen, break up the cubes and store in a plastic zip-top freezer bag. When you're ready to cook, grab a cube and toss it in your skillet for a perfect one-serving oil-and-herbs combo.
