Another way to save money is to make and plan your own meals. Figure out what you’ll cook, and then only buy what you need when you go grocery shopping.  Making your own baby food is so easy, too! Don’t spend a dollar on a little jar of sweet potatoes, when you can get a sweet potato for 50cents, and make 5 jars worth of baby food with it. If you make lots of baby food in advance, just freeze them in ice cube trays and save them for later! I'm a stay at home mama (of twin boys!), trying to excel at all things "motherly" and "homemakery" (real word, right?) although more honestly, I'm just trying to take pictures of my kids that hide how messy our apartment is.  Our family is cute.  In fact, I think it's the cutest family in the world. Although, I will admit that I may be a tad biased.  Visit my blog at http://babymakingbybecky.blogspot.com
