Dusters and disposable floor-mopping tools are expensive (we're looking at you, Swiffers). You can make your own reusable duster and use it -- wet or dry -- in place of pricier disposable options. Attach a paper towel (still disposable, I know, but much cheaper) or a small cloth towel to your Swiffer, just like you would attach the store-bought pads. If you're dry-dusting, go ahead and dust! If you're wet-dusting, spray the cloth or paper towel with your desired cleaner or a little bit of water. Remove large dust bunnies from the cloth and toss it in the washing machine with your other towels or rugs.
