When working at a place like PetCo, PetSmart, a humane society, etc., let people play with the animals! The animals need to be used to people so that they won't be scared, and the people need to be able to interact with the animals so that they know they are compatible with them. Always allow customers to pet or hold cats and dogs. It should be the number one rule.
