Right now there are about 450 Realtors in the Peterborough and Kawarthas Association of Realtors. Last year there were just under 3000 sales for over 6000 listings taken. That amounts to between 6 and 7 sales per Realtor. When choosing a Realtor ask how many houses they sold last year and the year before that. Commissions while flexible are not that different across real estate companies for the same services. Why not choose a Realtor that sells a lot of houses versus one that sells just a handful a year.
