Use a Bigger Cutting Board

Tiny cutting boards are often a staple for

Tiny cutting boards are often a staple for those with not much cupboard space, small countertops, or a studio apartment. Unfortunately, they're often really dangerous. A small cutting board gives you less space to maneuver your knife, making it way more likely that you'll cut yourself. As a rule of thumb, your cutting board should be proportional to what you're cutting and the knife you're using to cut it. If you're cutting an apple with a small paring knife, a small board is fine. If you're cutting green onions with a chopping knife, you'll want a large board. If you only have room in your cupboard for one cutting board, opt for the big one.
